Timeouting HTTP when trying to read external resources from s0.wp.com or platform.linkedin.com etc #205

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. For example have FW .8e-p1 firmware in the router
2. Trying to load some page which has linked external resources (images, css
etc?) from ie. linkedin or facebook

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Loading the blog page, I expect to see text, and possible attached pictures,
and properly formed html.
But, now going to in example blog: laimeasilli.wordpress.com the browser keeps
endlessly waiting for something from s0.wp.com
Some websites, such as http://www.suomif1.com/ will wait for resources from
platform.linkedin.com, or connect.facebook.com

After the connections timeout, the articles will be rendered, with some stuff
missing (for example CSS from the wordpress blog)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This happens with ASUS firmwares, and also any .8x version of padavan's
firmware.

This problem does not happen on .7f-p11 firmware!

Please provide any additional information below.
I have taken wireshark logs of the request on .8-p3 firmware

Please let me know if I can help debugging

Hello,
First, please attach the syslog file.
Then, write your connection type.
Write MTU value you've (if one could be changed it WebGui)/

Hi, so is it enough to just get the syslog file from the web-gui ?

My connection is a PPPoE connection over VDSL modem.
MTU value was default, I haven't changed it, but I will check once I'm back
home.

Yes, it is. Sure, just from web GUI.
I thought that the connection type is PPPoE ))
First, try to ask your provider about MTU correct value. If it can't say you
anything that make sense, try to decrease MTU with small values (about 2 or 4
maybe). Then check if anything changes.

Looks like this was indeed an invalid user error :)
After finding out a proper values for MTU and MRU, I no longer seem to have
these problems...
I was led astray when everything was working fine with older FW for some reason.

Anyhow, this can be closed, and it doesn't seem like there was any problems in
the FW after all.

Thank you so much for quick support!
