Actually, the kernel 2.6.21 is used, which is known not to support TRIM and 
Ext4 file system (I want to use SSD).

Gurus, is this a big act to update kernel at least to 2.6.37 ?
Is this possible at all (is Asus firmware source open enougth for the update)?

Unfortunately, it can't be done now =( Ralink doesn't provide drivers for 
hardware.

Solved: On Ext2, the hdparm wiper script does the manual (offline) trim.
