Just some how-to-do question #6

Hi Juan,

awesome job and thanks for sharing (also the layouts and stuff). I'd like to build one but ama bit reluctant when it comes to coding. I'd do 8 switches I guess and some input for expression pedal. On the other hand I'd need to connect legacy MIDI for my fx unit and amp plus a diy loop switch.
The thing is: did you need to code a lot? I mean to register the 18 switches and to tell them the MIDI channel, CC or PCh and so on...Or is this just something you configure in a third party software/app? From the original project I cannot really determine what is done so far so I'd need to estimate if I need to do coding and if my knowledge of code would be sufficient for a project like this....

Hi I did t have to code at all but : You need to download the Development platform to compile and upload the SW to the controller. And even though you do not code you need to set up some parameters in the code based on your config (I recall) it wasn’t rocket science but I am, well I was ….. an electronic engineer Good luck
