X Error of failed request: BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length error)

Hi all,
using ubuntu 11.04 and Gource v0.26 i get the following error

$ gource --output-ppm-stream test.avi
X Error of failed request:  BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib 
length error)
  Major opcode of failed request:  65 (X_PolyLine)
  Serial number of failed request:  13
  Current serial number in output stream:  14

Any idea?

I gather this is a graphics driver bug. It was previous reported here 
(http://code.google.com/p/gource/issues/detail?id=100).

If you google the error message the correlation seems to be ATI graphics 
drivers on Ubuntu.
