Decide which cross conditional mean outcome estimation to perform:

estimate E[Y|T=1,X] rather than E[E[Y|T=1,M,X]|T=1,X],

and E[Y|T=0,X] au lieu de E[E[Y|T=0,M,X]|T=0,X]

see whether it induces differences in performances
