Preloaded terrain radius for free roam #238

Considering a mechanism which places markers around a starting location to precache terrain much like the time trials maps do with level geo

Couple questions around that though...

Could we precache and then disable the tags to eliminate lag in local area without overdraw of terrain we can't see?
If not, can we disable the tags after some reasonable distance?
What radius is reasonable and what performances implications are there?
