Maybe multiple clocks: Hunger - slow, but will ultimately kill Batteries - lose light, navcomp and other electronics; light might also attract enemies Radiation - requires iodine, increase mutation chances (some of which might be beneficial)
Idea (thinking out loud):
Hunger math: initial / max amount based on endurance, hunger increase rate based on speed: 100 time units consume 100 * STR / 10 hunger. Or something.
