What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Select picture directory
2.Select GPS file
3.Click Synchronize

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No picture displayed in the window with Synchronize but it does by reading exif
with the tools menu. GPX file is also dispayed Ok from the tools menu.
Thumbs directory is created in teh pictures folder. Nothing is stored in it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.29-2012, set up in English. Windows 7 Édition Familiale Premium 64-bit SP1.
Same behaviour on my Windows 8 PC.

Please provide any additional information below.
The program is blocked with no output after:

Beginning synchronization with UTC Offset =0 hours and maximum time difference
= 300 seconds

Starting to generate a Google Earth file (doc.kml) in the picture folder ...

This program was working fine in the past but seems to be broken since several
months.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for the data, I will look at it when possible. Can you check if your
folder name (or even path to folder) is made of english characters only without
spaces and if not try to rename it to test.

Thanks a lot for superfast response.
The directory path seems to be the problem indeed.
The original one D:\Mes images\Workshop\2013-09-21 Laneffe did not work. :-(
A test done in C:\Users\Regis\Desktop\tmp did work... :-))
but D:\Mes images\Production-Small\2013\Marche\2013-09-21-Laneffe does'nt :-(((

You must have a lot of issues with this kind of bug. At least there seems to be
a quick workaround. Thanks for the trick.

Hmm strange, it's maybe the space in "2013-09-21-Laneffe does'nt" or "Mes
images" or less likely the non C drive. If it is any of that I should be able
to fix it easily.
I have a known problem with some non-english characters with geonames option on
windows (that's what i was expecting)
https://code.google.com/p/gpicsync/issues/detail?id=117
Also It's been a while i haven't used this app. and I've not tested it on
windows 8.
