Pinged @juliangruber about this update on twitter as well. Maybe we can just use this in the meantime, but its sound like there is a re-written launcher module out there we should use instead. Maybe we can land this and then land that when someone has time/interest.

It’s not urgent since this module already fixed it adding the repo as a dependency. This PR only removes that workaround

sorry I missed this work, 7.0.2 is already out with 2.0.0
