Design considerations: Incomplete content #2

Open julianharty opened 7 years ago

As I'm writing additional material, I've identified more topics that will need writing up than I can write in parallel. This means there are lots of missing content/materials. Are there ways we can elegantly design the materials and/or whatever we decide to use to present/serve the content so we can inform the user, offer them options to learn more and/or contribute, and track what they've requested that's missing?

How about creating the equivalent of a no_content_yet.md page and use softlinks for all the yet_to_be_written materials. These would link to the no content page. We can log requests for the yet_to_be_written pages (And also possibly record the equivalent of the referer on the no_content_yet page) to also track popularity.

Hmmm...
