Ability to change/edit the meal name #1468

Is your new feature related to a problem? Please describe. The meals in french, are translated like this

  1. Petit-déjeuner
  2. Déjeuner
  3. Diner

But in "other french". Like Canadien French the wording is different

  1. Déjeuner
  2. Diner
  3. Souper

Describe the issue So Diner in French is during lunch (noon) and Diner in Canadien French is for the evening meal. This difference can be very misleading when we use it in the meal plan.

Describe the solution you'd like So my feature request will be:

  1. Either way add the language canadien french ( I can start the traduction)
  2. Or let the administrator customize the meal name.

I'd like to keep those names static since it's a fairly large undertaking to add support for dynamic meal names. Definitely think your suggestion of adding a canadian french translation is the way to go!
