Great resource - thanks again! Looking forward to part IV as well. I'm trying to simulate a 2 x (2) mixed design and so would like to see how you work through it to learn

Thank you very much. I apologize to everyone who is waiting for part IV and that it takes so much longer than I thought. I did not find much time to work on it, but I am and I have made quite some progress. But in the spirit of keeping this tutorial useful and generalizable for people's own work, the fourth part has become the longest one in the series already, which I did not anticipate beforehand. However, I wanted to explain some of the more technical details that distinguish mixed models from more simple linear models so that the tutorial would not be too separated from the earlier parts.
