I would like to know if for improvement you have thought about scapy python

Hi and thanks for your message. To be honnest TextTract is a very limited and incomplete project.

I haven't thought about using Scrapy, but have been thinking of forking Trafilatura (I wrote an article about it: https://blanchardjulien.com/posts/trafilatura/)

What is your idea?
