Phonetrack logging not working properly : misconfiguration or bug ? #61

Hi,

Because sometimes image is better than long description : image

As you can see, sometimes I have some devices that get their position not updating for a long time and then I get some long direct lines in the map linking 2 points.

What can be the cause of this behavior please as the position reports works well for a time and then begin to work incorrectly ?

I do not know how to debug these cases. Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi I think I propably have a similar problem, I'm playing around with the different tracking methods and tims, etc.. But even when I activate maximum time limit with 30 minutes (1800s), the tracking is not working confidently. Like my last point was 6 hours ago and in the meantime I was traveling a lot by foot. I gave the app all permissions and also the possibility to track every time and that it's allowed to run in background with no energy saving options.

I'm running on an Google Pixel 9 pro xl and I had a similar problem multiple months ago with and Google Pixel 8 pro but back than I didn't tried to fix it.

Is there some kind of debug mode where it enables an loging to file mode to see if there are problems and where they are?

I also had the feeling like it started to track again when I actively opened the app again, but also not every time. And I let the silent notification open the whole time to track the sended points...

I would really like to help to fix the problem as far as I can without programming knowledge...
