Task 12. Identify mechanisms, including funding, for sustained engagement Recognizing that the intent is to build sustained engagement processes, throughout this project we will work with our partners to identify existing and new funding models to support sustained engagement and collaboration between researchers, practitioners, service providers, and boundary organizations. Materials created through iterations throughout this project (described in Task 6) will be shared and used to create a roadmap for next steps related to continued engagement. We anticipate this work will highlight data gaps which are common among communities and could be explored in collaboration. This would serve the communities that are already engaged, but also promote identifying other communities (leveraging region-wide maps in Task 2) that can provide a richer network of potential adaptation options.

Responsibility: PI Duncan and Arnott will co-lead with support from PI Stults and Vano.

As a flag - we put in an Innovation Fund letter of intent to explore innovative resilience financing. Should that grant be funded, it will overlap in timing with this work and could provide some interesting ideas for how we fund not only the implementation of resilience activities, but the continued collaboration and co-production of knowledge that leads to more resilient activities. I'll certainly keep the group posted.

Fantastic! FYI, the "Regional_funding_resources" part of the Matrix is where we can collect ideas for resilience financing.
