I have another example that is maybe a bit simpler:
RJX 897
is going from Frankfurt to Vienna via Bregenz but it changes the train number to RJX 867
in Bregenz. This makes that you cant find Vienna as a direct connection from e.g. Bensheim or Friedrichshafen.
The Bahn Verbindungsauskunft knows this and states the following:
Verkehrt als RJX 897 bis Bregenz, danach als RJX 867
I guess there is no information on the train if you only ask for what train stops in Bensheim.
Connections of splitting trains don't show correctly. For example: There is EC112/EC113 going from Frankfurt to Klagenfurt, however in Villach it splits into EC212/EC213 going to Zagreb. This means that there are direct train connections between Frankfurt and Zagreb. It appears that direkt.bahn.guru however only sees EC112/EC113 from Frankfurt to Klagenfurt and EC212/EC213 from Villach to Zagreb.
One thing to keep in mind is that (at least with this train) there is not a direct connection from Klagenfurt to Zagreb, so the logic would have to keep in mind when which parts split and where they have to go.
