No dice. Really silly question - could my generated password (30 characters with various symbols) be getting in the way?
2nd question for reference - when you ask a "what number in the nth position", are you looking for position from the left (most significant) or right (least significant)?
hm. odd. just tried it myself and worked for me (but I got the "addition" question).
The number positions should be like this: 1234567
so if you get 234098, than the 4th position would be 0. can you send me the IP address you are connecting from, or the email address you use to sign up please? (jullrich-at-sans.edu .... do not post it here).
I am trying to create a DShield account, but it always fails at: "You have failed the "Confirm that you are a human" test." I never get this test and I have tried with Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. They all get the same error.

please try again. I think it was a password save application (or maybe your browser) pre-filling a field that wasn't supposed to be pre-filled. fixed that test.
Hi Johannes, That would be a common denominator as I have the LastPass plugin on all three browsers. I reloaded the page in Chrome, cleared all of the pre-populated fields, entered the info and submitted it. This time, I did not get the error message, but the register page reloads without any errors or indication that the registration attempt was successful. I have a conference call coming up, but after it is over, I will try to load a grower in “safe mode” and see if I have any better luck that way.

Good news... Accessing the site via a chrome incognito session did the trick!
I seem to be unable to pass the human test in order to register a new account. I've tried putting in the numbers in positions from both the left and right of the large number and adding numbers when requested. All fail.
