paper needs a better title #10

the point is not to infer the ellipticity distribution. The point is to use that inference to improve shear estimates and the science based on those estimates. How about:

Betterizing weak-lensing with hierarchical inference.

Or something akin to that?

I like the emphasis. However, the only hierarchical thing we are doing so far is inferring P(e). If we do the shear field too though, a more general title will be apropos.
