Delphi 2010 IDE hangs after startup

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install CnPack
2. Start Delphi
3. Select a project in Welcom screen
4. Wait forever...

I made a debug build using the sources (so I could make a .map file) and used 
the "process stack viewer" of  AsmProfiler 
(http://code.google.com/p/asmprofiler/wiki/ProcessStackViewer) to get the stack 
of the main thread:
