Server-Error: Did not receive identification string from IP

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install SSHTunnel Beta on HTC Desire HD
2. Try to enable SSH Tunnel
3. Get error message on phone and server log

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: 
Phone: Establish connection
Server: Log-output like "Accepted password for root from xp port 46547 ssh2, 
pam_unix(sshd:session): session opened for user root by (uid=0)"

Instead:
On phone: no connection established
Error message on server (auth.log): "Did not receive identification string from 
xy"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Phone: SSHTunnel Beta 1.7.0, Android 2.3.3, Leedroid 3.3.3, Leedroid Kernel
Server: OpenSSH_5.5p1 Debian-6+squeeze1, OpenSSL 0.9.8o 01 Jun 2010

Please provide any additional information below.
With SSHTunnel 1.5.3 it's working!
