[Features Request]: compressed connection and encryption type

Finally, this is the best solution for my country (not china) since the VPN 
also had a very restricted performance here (only l2tp works).

it is really useful (for slow connections) to add option for compressing 
connection (zlib?).

also if you can allow to choose the encryption type because as I know the most 
default encryption is 3des which is known as the slowest for transferring data 
(arcfour is the fastest) as per this benchmark:
