How does this work with APN? #97

Can someone explain how sshtunnel and the apn interact?  If I think of my apn 
as a gateway, but all traffic is tunneled to a ssh proxy, does it even matter 
what the apn is?  Does the apn perform dns lookups?  

I guess I am looking to see if I can speed up my connection by eliminating the 
hop (or bottleneck) of the apn.  Can anyone help?

sshtunnel does not interact with apn. instead it will try to use iptables and 
redsocks to redirect traffic of your phone.
