As a workaround for right now, you can go into the configuration page, scroll down to the bottom and use that very last option for editing the timestamps. Select the show you don't want sipped and use the option to delete the intros.
But these shows gonna be rescanned, no?
It's not a permanent solution.
You could also seperate the shows into seperate libraries. There is a user option to merge content of libaries (atleast visually)
I have to second this suggestion, and echo it for credit skip. I have a show (Jeopardy) where it has identified the Final Jeopardy think music as closing credits and is therefore skipping the final jeopardy clue. I would like to be able to simply turn off credit skip for that particular series.
On the original PolarBear introskipper (that didn't have credit skipping), I once had another series where the intro monologue and visuals were different for every episode, but the audio was close enough that it was identified as an intro and skipped, but I at the time I was able to simply delete all data for that show as a workaround to have it not skip intros on that show - however, that doesn't work now that there are two skips (intro and credits) unless you want to omit skipping of BOTH on the same show, and it only really works for completed series. Ongoing series would require more active maintenance. A simple checkbox to include/exclude that series from intro/credits skipping would be a useful feature.
As it happens, Jeopardy is a show that doesn't have an intro that really needs skipping, so I AM able to erase data on that show to solve the credit skipping problem, but only because I don't care about the intro to that one being skipped.
More can be done once https://github.com/jumoog/intro-skipper/pull/183 clears, but virtually anything done now will conflict.
Hi,
I would love to have the option to exclude some shows from automatically skipping intros (not the credits), while still maintaining the skip button. I really enjoy your plugin, I love it! Thank you so much!
