• I've modified it slightly because it didn't work for me before I added the R Markdown filters.

• It only solves part of the issue that I've rephrased for better clarity. I still want to merge this and then @stephlocke will submit to CRAN, the whole folder selection could be another add-in. I've added the hacktoberfest label to this PR, so it should still count.

• I've added your GitHub username in NEWS and your name in DESCRIPTION as "ctb". I'll wait for your ok before merging!
