Square brackets in event that has no meaning #7

Open jundatan opened 1 year ago

There is a square bracket in the events that does not have any meaning. Found out that it is suppose to be for marking. I feel that there should be a label for it at least as it is unclear.

Steps to reproduce: Add an event and you can see the empty square brackets in the panel for the event.

Expected: No square brackets.

Actual: There is a square bracket with no meaning

Team's Response

It is already expressed and shown in the UG with pictures that shows what the square brackets represents. One that shows that an event is marked as completed and the other that is shown as not completed. This is already shown in the the quick start page.

Reason for disagreement: Yes, i noticed afterwards that it represents mark and unmark. But in this scenario, i am trying to say that it is a UI problem for the users. Having a square bracket does not mean anything at the start. User may be confused on what the square bracket means and whether it is a visual bug. They will only realise that it is actually used for marking and unmarking when they look at the picture under mark command which is not conventional. It is not reasonable to put simply a square bracket to show mark and unmark when there are better options like adding images to show mark and unmark. The square brackets are also in a very weird placement which is at the bottom.
