I can't reproduce the problem. Is it reproducible with the minimal Vim configuration (+ g:fzf_layout
) given in the issue template?
Apologies, it isn't. Sorry to have bothered you, this doesn't appear to be an fzf issue.
After some digging around, it turns out my issue is this one: https://github.com/vim/vim/issues/5820
man fzf
)OS: Arch Linux
vim version:
fzf version:
0.21.1
fzf.vim version(latest):
f86ef1b
Behavior: using the new vim8 popup option via
fzf_layout
results in the original buffer losing its current line. For example, given a file (line numbers on left):
If my cursor is on
[x]
and I do a file path completion (ctrl-x ctrl-f
), the value gets inserted on line 0 added tohello
. So it appears, superficially, to be losing track of the line number of the buffer and then defaulting(?) to line 0 when the popup is closed. Here is the fzf portion of my
.vimrc
:This is obviously most frustrating on completion plugs such as
ctrl-x cttrl-f
(for example).I apologize if this is not enough information. If i comment out the layout setting for the popup and use the normal layout, things work just fine. Thank you for this amazing plugin and
fzf
, and if there's more information I can provide please let me know and I'll do my best.
