Text marker should follow undo actions #278

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What change would like to see?
Whenever undo function is used the text marker should follow the changes in the
text.

Why?
It can be very confusing to differ whether you undo something in only one
section or also undo somewhere else in the sketch.

Would this cause any incompatibilities with previous versions? If so, how
can these be mitigated?
No

Hi, I would say this should be a high priority fix. It's very difficult to use
undo reliably, as you may change parts of the file that you are unaware (i.e.,
hit undo an extra time, and you might not notice a change that's reverted
somewhere else in the editor). This is a very dangerous issue that.
