I have Nexus S on Android 4.1.2
Computer with Win 7 64-bit sp1
Mobile phone is connected via Wi-fi (shared connection from computer with
connectify).
Spydroid version 6.7.1
VLC version 2.0.5

When I try to start the stream from VLS, i get message "start failed" on my
mobile phone. Same thing happens when I try to use firefox. Additonally,
resolution, framerate and bitrate are set to 0x0px, 0fps,0kbps after I try to
connect.

I tried several times, always the same result.

VLC prints some error messages.
Firefox prints error saying "This generaly happens when you are trying to use
settings that are not supported by your phone".

Video and Audio streaming are enabled.
Settings on mobile phone:
  Audio encoder: AMR-NB
  Video encoder: H-263
  Resolution: 640x480px
  Framerate: 10fps
  Bitrate: 500kbps

Hi !

Could you try to use VLC with the following URI:
"rtsp://yourphoneip:8086?h263=1000-20-640-480" and tell me if you also get a
start failed ?

Also could you try this one:
"rtsp://yourip:8086?h264=1000-20-640-480"

If you are using VLC from a command line remember to use quotes:
vlc "rtsp://yourphoneip:8086?h264=1000-20-640-480"

Thank you for your time !
