Currently, you cannot preview the level of alpha in the color bar squares. If you use a pattern in the background like a black and white check board, you can preview the level of alpha and how it will render.

I don't think we need it. nb-color-codes-preview-issue31 If there are many requests from other people, I may implement it. However, only when alpha is 0, maybe. Thanks!
