Windows SFX does not work with large archive #256

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a large archive with "Windows GUI: freearc.sfx"
2. Try to start the resulting .exe
3. Error message: "xxx.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
.exe should work...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
FreeArc 0.67 (August 12 2010)

Please provide any additional information below.
* The archive is 7,149,093,040 bytes large, with 6082 files in it.
* I can open the archive with Freearc and perform a "Test", and there it works.
* Ive used the flags -s; -m=rep:2048mb+mm+delta+dispack+lzma:ultra:180mb
* I have also tried it with just -m3, resulting in a 9GB exe, but this does not
work either.
* .exe with small archive works

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I was unable to make such spanned archive. When I've
set solid blocks size it created only one file anyways.
