Thanks for making this kong module available!

This PR adds support for Kong 0.8.x and PostgreSQL. It also contains a handful of other minor fixes.

This seems to fail on Ruby < 2.2 due to the Syck gem change. I'm happy to pull out that change again if you want to retain compatibility with old Ruby versions.

Thanks for this @fkleon . This Pull Request contains most of the fixes that I have had in a yet-to-be-pushed-branch, and some that I did not. (I guess great minds think alike). I'll push some changes through shortly. With regard to supported Ruby versions, I'm intending to mirror what is done with the Voxpupuli modules, which is to support only 1.9.3 and above.
