Ubuntu: missing packages #124

In the zumastor-team PPA, only two of the thirteen kernel packages are
available for Ubuntu Hardy: linux-image-2.6.24-16-zumastor and
linux-headers-2.6.24-16-zumastor packages. 

The following packages should be provided:

linux-zumastor - Kernel metapackage, highly desirable (upgrades all the
kernel packages at once)

linux-image-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Kernel, required [PROVIDED]
linux-image-zumastor - Unversioned dummy package for upgrades, highly desirable

linux-backports-modules-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Drivers, required
linux-backports-modules-hardy-zumastor - Unversioned dummy package for
upgrades, highly desirable

linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Drivers, required

linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Drivers, required

linux-headers-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Headers for the kernel package, required
[PROVIDED]
linux-headers-lbm-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Headers for the backports-modules
package, required
linux-headers-lum-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Headers for the ubuntu-modules
package, required
linux-headers-zumastor - Unversioned dummy package for upgrades, highly
desirable

linux-image-debug-2.6.24-16-zumastor - Debug kernel, useful for testing,
highly desirable
linux-image-debug-zumastor - Unversioned dummy package for upgrades, highly
desirable

Failing to provide, for example, linux-ubuntu-modules means AppArmor is not
available.

Given that Ubuntu Hardy is a 5-year support version, extra-care should be
put in supporting it.

We'll do at least some of these for 0.8, Will says only a few more are 
absolutely
needed.  The rest we'll put off for 0.9.

We have at least linux-zumastor, linux-image-zumastor, 
linux-image-2.6.24-16-zumastor, and linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-16-zumastor. 
Will 
do the others as time allows.

Resolving this. Will come up with another issue for the generic need for a 
debug 
kernel. [We don't have anything generic so something ubuntu specific is of 
limited 
use at the moment]
