What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Curiosity causes you to try setting a larger cachesize
2. You look at the zumastor/ddsnap output about -k (cachesize), it
doesn't mention units. You check the manpages, no units. You read the
manpages more, and eventually find something in an example embedded in
text.
3. You notice you can specify a unit on the fly, eg 100k or 100M. You get
ambitious and try 10G, it fails.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Success expected with less effort.
- Manpages/output from binaries could be more helpful
- ddsnap should understand gigabytes not just megabytes
