2.6.24.2-um: mkfs.xfs halts #76

Test suite hangs indefinitely at 
+ mkfs.xfs -f /dev/mapper/testvol

cat /var/lib/misc/tunbr.leases or scroll back for the IP address assigned
to the instance, and 
slogin {ipaddr} -l root

The instance itself is still functional and may be debugged, extra tools
installed, etc.

Issue #96 marked as duplicate, and added sysrq output from a test machine.

This was fixed in r1516 (pretty sure, pending verification)
