stoic-wallet for login

On Discord it was suggested to add stoic-wallet as an additional authentication method.

Two questions are open before being effectively able to potentially implement this:

• Is it possible to use stoic-wallet for authentication purpose or is it strictly a wallet?
• Does stoic-wallet requires a library and if yes then, in which library would we integrate it given that it cannot make it to core?

I reviewed the ic-stoic-identity source code (repo) and have several questions and observations:

• Can this library be used as an authentication provider, or is it solely meant for wallet purposes?
• Does Toniq Labs maintain this library? The last commit was made 3 years ago.
• The source code contains few bad JavaScript bad practices such as using and exposing global var. Is there any plan to improve the code?
• The library seems to also enforce a buffer polyfill (window.Buffer = Buffer;) which requires the client I guess to provide it. Is this required?
• The dependencies are outdated; agent-js v0.10.0 is still used. Are there any plans to upgrade these?
• Dependencies are not set as peer dependencies. Can this be adjusted? Can the buffer dependency be removed as it adds weight to the package?
• The bundle does not seem to be ESM, can this be updated?
• Are there any plans to cover the library with some automated tests?
