Considering https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5

I want something that is easy for everyone to edit, easy to administer, and can play sorta nice with geodata.

I know LocalWiki has also been putting more work into incorporating geo, but LocalWiki seems heavier weight overall.

Personally, I'd also consider it a bonus if it used Persona authentication.

Looks like LocalWiki is Python-based. Personally, I think I'd have a better chance of jumping in with something based in JS like TiddlyWiki, and it looks like it's being developed pretty actively.

What about Shareabouts? http://openplans.org/work/shareabouts/

Ooh, that looks very cool! One notion I want to capture is directionality, rather than just location. For example, making a left turn at an intersection might be much more dangerous than continuing in a straight line. I like the idea of drawing routes first and then tagging POIs/intersections on those routes, which can capture what type of transition there is.

Will have to check out shareabouts further
