Added a lot of inline code comments as I went about figuring out the code.
Implemented the unit test for linkTo.
Minor modification to how curParams is handled and added a serialize() method to $.route for getting all the current data.
Added various other unit tests which revealed a few bugs; then fixed those bugs. Checking out HEAD~2 will show the failing tests, for which fixes were committed in HEAD~1. The message of HEAD~1 describes the changes and why they were necessary.

This is fantastic! I'm going to pull this can clean it up a little.

Thanks for the clean up Justin. On the third last line (#436) you still refer to window.location.hash rather than just location.hash.
