9/1 - Open Call for Topics to Community (Tweet on 9/1, Google Group 9/1, DevCall 9/6) 9/7 - Last Call for idea submissions 9/8 - Close Call for Topics 9/15 - Ana to create draft + find headliner image (request design help if needed) 9/19 - Send email requesting feedback to Medium editors (BG, CW, FP, JW, MB) 9/22 - Send email reminder to editors - last chance to respond on 9/23 9/23 - Close feedback process for editors, prepare for final draft 9/28 - Publish on Medium

Update from 9/12 - closed call for topics for 9/28. Initial draft due 9/15.

How many do you need? I could likely find something at PyData. One of the JupyterDays Atlanta presenters will be presenting something on birds songs and data analysis.

One technical article. I have two other non technical topics I'd like to write about.

In case you didn't see the email from yesterday, here is a quick flag for @ellisonbg @fperez @Carreau @JamiesHQ @willingc - the draft of the next newsletter is available on Medium. Please let me know if you have any overarching feedback otherwise you can make your edits to the document directly making to sure to click "close" and "save for later" on the bottom right when you're done with your work. Feedback due by Friday the 23rd.

ps. I didn't give you as much time to respond as I would have liked. I updated the next newsletter's timeline to increase this review time.
