1. Who you are

My name is Mark Schutera I am a doctoral researcher and adjunct lecturer with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology / Institute for Automation and Applied Informatics.

2. A few details about the event/course/context

I will be giving a lecture on applied deep learning within a university lecture at KIT.

3. If money is changing hands (attendees pay a fee, speaker is getting paid, free, etc)

No fee, speaker is not getting paid for this lecture, free.

4. A link to the repository you are using

https://github.com/schutera/DeepDive

5. What type of event it is:

6. How many people you expect to attend the event

100 - 300

7. The exact times and dates of the event(s) (with timezone information)

10.02.2021 08:00 - 16:00 (European Central Time)

8. How do you plan to give mybinder.org a shout out at the event

The whole lecture will basically be on mybinder.org - so students will know. I will let them know how much struggle mybinder just took from their shoulder by not having them setting up environments and so on for the lecture. Rest assured they will appreciate mybinder, and will remember it.

Sounds good to me.

If you could prepare a PR that implements the resource increase (similar to https://github.com/jupyterhub/mybinder.org-deploy/pull/1707) that would be great.

I would set the limit to about 200. In our experience only about 2/3 of people who sign up/attend an event actually start a binder session.
