URL to share produces "Failed to connect to event stream" #2741

Related to https://github.com/gesiscss/orc2/issues/12.

https://mybinder.org/v2/gh/illinois-ceesd/NCSA-WEST/HEAD works as expected.

https://notebooks.gesis.org/binder/v2/gh/illinois-ceesd/NCSA-WEST/HEAD produces "Failed to connect to event stream"

Any suggestion where I should start looking for the source of this error?
