Welcome to the Jupyter community! :tada:
I've created an issue about this in FirstUseAuthenticator where the fix for this needs to be made: https://github.com/jupyterhub/firstuseauthenticator/issues/42
Also for reference, see #264 regarding work towards switching to another authenticator that can offer a better user experience with this regard, as well as #571 that is related.
Bug description
I read this document and added a user. https://tljh.jupyter.org/en/latest/install/custom-server.html#step-2-adding-more-users
But, the screen for setting a password is not displayed when the added user logs in for the first time. How can I set a password?
Expected behaviour
can set a password when you log in for the first time
Actual behaviour
can't set a password
How to reproduce
Follow the "Installing on your own server" instructions to set up. https://tljh.jupyter.org/en/latest/install/custom-server.html
