6/21 jupyter community workshop writing event

when: June 21, 10:15 AM PST on the Jovyan Zoom after the lab call.

last week we discussed a renewed need for better onboarding into accessibility and jupyter as whole. an action item was to have a meeting to start collaborating on jupyter community workshop proposals. since there are pressing accessibility matters at hand we decided to hold this meeting in between our normal bi-weekly meetings.

Jupyter Community Workshop are a series of community-organized events to tackle challenging development and design projects, growing the community of contributors, and strengthening collaborations.

join us this wednesday at 10:15 PST to start organizing you jupyter community workshop proposal. the jupyter community workshops have had sporadic calls in the past, but with the new governance we've been informed that opportunistic proposals might be accepted.

during this meeting, shepherds will be identified for specific community workshop proposals. they'll create a shared document and lead a collaboration on each topic. if necessary we can break out into different rooms to work on their proposals together. after the event, groups will continue their proposals and submit them to the steering council/community working group for review.
