I saw in a previous thread that a categories only mode could be in the works... You've probably already thought of this but just incase... I'll toss this in here... could there be a modular complex mode instead of a categories only mode... this will mean when there is no spotlight the categories will slide up and when there is no categories the widgets will be displayed as they are... and spotlight can be added to the widgets... this will eradicate the need for complex or classic layout and just create one singular layout that things can be added and removed from...
Why is this feature needed? Please justify and explain.
This is a combination of previous requests and I also believe I have heard you say something like this before... there is no open thread for it is why I am adding this
A modular layout will create a building blocks kind of effect when setting up pages and hubs... which is more fun, not proper justification... just saying 🤧
A modular layout will make it easier to create a variation of setups for different use cases, simple plug and play users, middle ground users and complex users... It'll also be easier to customize.... It'll also create more options when using linked categories or linked spotlights... You can have each side menu item show a different kind of layout just by focusing on it...
