Hi, I have encountered a particular issue while transmitting in DSTAR, sending my GPS data at the same time: on my local pi-star dashboard BER is always at 0%, but on the reflectors people listen me with lots of interruptions, and the transit on the reflectors side always has BER peaks more than 50%. But disabling the sending of GPS data, the issue disappears (we can check BER on REF080 side with our own advanced dashoard).
This here happens both using an Icom ID-5100 and a Kenwood TH-D74.
I also tried to increase the frequency shift on both my dualhats, and temporary setting them as simplex, but nothing changes.
I tried to downgrade to 1.4.17, but nothing changes.
I own a DVMEGA too, and doing the same tests with this one the issue does not occur, so I came to the conclusion that it is a bug in the firmware.
I don't have the skills to watch in the source code, could someone do this check?
Thank you very much
