Got you covered ;o)
In the Flow Option menu go to "View Options" then Under "Level-New" go to "Sort
By:" and set to Title. Once you set to Title you will see a new option under
it. In that new menu option you will see options for ignoring the leading
articles.

I'm blind I tell ya, blind! :) THX!
Related but different, I've got at least one series that the seasons aren't
sorting properly, see below pics, I've got level 2 grouped by season and sorted
by season&episode.... (which seems like the obvious way to sort, and it puts
season 5 above season 4.... sorting by title works in that 4 is above 5... but
"season #" isn't really title... maybe if grouped by season, the sort should be
season rather than title?

I would guess that the metadata is not right for one of them, so have a look in
BMT and see if there's anything different between the two.
Are you decending (5 then 4 below) instead of ascending (4 then 5 below)?

yeah, did that... they both seem identical to my eye in BMT, I did check that
first... and the setting I've tried is ascending, decending and none...
This sorts properly in diamond and native sage, so don't think it's an issue
outside of the flow...
When I sort by Title it works fine so I don't think it's a difference in the
metadata... I think it's more a function of is "Title" the right word or should
it say "Season" as the sort option? After-all "season 4" isn't the title...
If you look at the first picture above, it's on group by season, then sort by
season&episode, which intuitively should mean it sorts by season ascending,
then within that by episode, unless there's a level 3 sort that says something
different, right?

If your turn off your banners, you will find that the 'Title' for those items
are 'Season 4' and 'Season 5'. That is why title works (though probably
wouldn't once you go over 9 seasons). I seem to think I also saw some
strangeness in the season sorting, but didn't investigate further...

Yup... but it's really not part of the title at all, just a hierarchical
designation done by Gemstone as part of the grouping function... I don't think
the "average" sage user (like me) is going to correlate the 'title' that
way.... In a grouping by season scenario, it seems to me that one of the sort
options should be "by season". In fact I'd say that anything that is grouped
by "something" should then have sort by "something" one of the option and not
have to translate... I think it's just a label issue....

I believe you can just leave the Grouper as Season and the Sorter blank and it
will work.
But Title is the correct sorter if you chose one... could be considered a
labeling thing but then we would need 2 sorted that did the same thing so I
don't think we will be adding one.
Try leaving it blank and see how that goes.
PS: Title will handle the seasons above 9 properly (likely not above 99 but not
going to worry about that one right now).
