Phoenix fanart not caching on PC client #86

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clear memory cache
2. Clear the file system cache
3. Prebuild cache

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The expected output is
that all fanart shows up. The caching process just continues to show the
spinning working symbol with the first movie in the list.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Client PC - Win 7 Home Premium, Sage 7.1.9.256, Java Version 1.6.0_35, Gemstone
1.0174 - client installed on C:\

Server PC - Win 7 Ultimate, Sage 7.1.9.256, Java 1.6.0_24, Gemstone 1.0174 -
server installed on D:\ fanart installed on E:\ DVDs installed on F:\
MKVs installed on H:\

Both PCs and HD300 connected via gigabit switch (all wired).

Please provide any additional information below.

I originally had menu issues when upgrading to Gemstone from Diamond. So I
uninstalled the SageTV client and then renamed the left over sagetv directory.
I reinstalled the client and then installed the gemstone UI. Menus show up but
thats when the fanart would not cache.

The fanart was working on the client prior to the upgrade to Gemtstone from
Diamond. The server and HD300 upgraded to Gemstone with no issue. Fanart
caches just fine.

The precaching is working now - for some reason my java version 1.6.0_35 was
not fully installed. I re-installed that version and everything came up. All
is working perfectly now.
