Option to replace PosterBlank.png with default sageTV 7 Imported video preview thumbnail icon #67

People who collect video clips such as home movies, etc, get the
PosterBlank.png for all these items. It would be great to have an option to
display the preview thumbnail sageTV 7 makes from the default STV for these
types of video imports. It would certainly make categories like Music Videos,
Home Movies look nicer, IMO. Maybe there's a way to do this already; I'm just
not sure how.

Not sure that any of our views would work with generated thumbs, maybe the
listflow in the info bg image area, but replaceing posters with generated
thumbs doesn't match up orientation wise, posters are tall and thumbs are wide,
uless we chop or stretch to fit then they would look odd. The movie views are
really meant for "movies" at this point.

I actually already thought about that after I posted. I agree, completely
replacing the icon would look horrible; especially with the wrong orientation.

However, I thought of a pretty cool compromise. How about keeping the
PosterBlank.png placeholder, but alphablending the thumbnail preview in the
center; keeping the correct aspect ratio. It could be a faded preview image in
the center; while keeping respective text legible AND placeholders would all be
consistent. I know it might be a PITA to do, but it could look be a
significant visual enhancement if alphableded just right (not to distract from
other menu items.
