installation fails #9

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. clicked on the installer (java binary)
2. clicked install on novacom install
3. it starts to install then errors out when installing.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I had the exact same issue. Running Windows 7 64 bit professional. Cannot get
the jar file to download files. It fails no matter the source.

I'm pasting this from the issue #8

Looks like download site is unavailable for both Universal Novacom Installer
and http://www.openwebosproject.org/opensource/packages.html page.
Found the mirrored file here:
novacom-win-64.tgz

Please notice that the tools require only that Novacom be installed. I used the
file novacominstaller_x64.msi, and got novacom that way. There is also a
novacominstaller_x86.msi. Google should find them for you.

My HP Touchpad is now an Android KitKat (4.4.4) machine!!

The servers, who provide the Files are at the moment unavaible. When ou try to
get the Files from the servers, you would be redirected to a blank page;
