integration with other apps for notifications? #7

any way to connect with any other apps (Google Messaging, Telegram, Discord, Facebook Messenger, Etc) to get notifications of changes to my wallet or miners?

I realized I haven't replied to that! I really have never worked with external apps for notifications, I have no idea how that would work but I'd be interested to see.

I'd like to add notifications (initially, within the app itself), but the app is only active when you are using it, and it will only get data about what you are seeing. You will get activities only for the hotspot you are watching, for example, and not for others.

Adding a more global notification system will require to do things differently, so it's not something I can add right now. I'd like to at least add a notification when your wallet goes up, but then I wonder how relevant it would be to receive every couple of hours a notification saying you received 0.002 HNT (about 4 cents nowadays)? So maybe detecting a wallet change wouldn't be the best idea, and would just flood you with notifications of very small amounts all the time. But I will consider it, surely something can be done!
