FPS is always lower on OSX #38

Licecap 1.28 OSX 10.11.6

When i do recordings and set 25fps while recording it hovers around 15-17fps. How can we get the real FPS number we put in?

The number you set is "max fps" so I think it's really a performance issue

Im not sure of that if nothing is running it has the same effect.

Is it perhaps because on Retina screens it is recording double the size. I think that is the issue here. Hope next response is faster ;)

EDIT File dimension is actually half of retina. So perhpas the calculations doing this is making it slow. Smaller captures are running faster. Full screen os about 5-7fps where half of that runs at 16-20fps
